Chapter 1: Heiji’s Makuhita
Heiji watched his father put his Pokémon through the morning drills – running, weights, and sessions with the punching bags, etc. All of Heizo Hattori’s Pokémon are in shape and know how to fight. The Dewford Gym boasts the strongest Pokémon and has a reputation for being the toughest Gym to beat when qualifying for the Pokémon League.
This day was special though. Today the new Pokémon – the recently captured and hatched – were going to be put through the paces for the first time. The baby Makuhita bounced eagerly on their feet, ready to join their parents and older brothers and sisters. Heiji had his eye on one in particular, one that was only two feet tall and the shortest of the bunch. He was already imitating the punches he saw his older brother throwing at a punching bag nearby. This one was a fighter. He’d grow up to be big and strong.
“Heiji!” Heizo called

Chapter 3: DATS
When Tailmon woke up later that evening, the Aoko girl and the Kuroba boy were gone and Saguru was out of his bed sitting at the wooden thing he’d called a desk.
“I’d wondered where you’d gotten off to,” he smiled at her when she jumped up onto the wooden surface to join him.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
“Paperwork,” the sick human huffed, nose still sounding stuffed. “I have to do it after every KID heist.”
“You and that Kuroba boy talked about KID. What’s a KID?”
While he worked, Saguru told her about the eccentric thief called the Kaitou KID and the human group call the KID Task Force. Saguru apparently worked with this group and they were a division of police – which was what the humans acting as guardians were called in general. Then he started to explain what a detective was and what he did as a detective, that snowballed and started a lecture on the vari

"Whatcha looking for (Name)-neesan?" Conan asked. You were babysitting him since Ran was trying to help her parent's "date".
"Have you ever though KID-san was looking for something?" You were half paying attention to the conversation.
"Perhaps. It could just be he does this for fun."
"No. He held up the last gem to the moon, and then said 'This isn't it.' He's looking for something. I just don't know what." You were typing furiously into the computer, still browsing the internet for some kind of clue.
A few minutes later, you come across a strange tale of a gem called Pandora. You read how Pandora is supposed to shed tears of immortalilty under a certain comet. The only way to find it is by shining a large gem through moonlight. Conan looks over your shoulder to see what's onscreen.
Conan raised an eyebrow after reading the w

You sigh and put down the newspaper in your apartment. It's been a little over a week since Kaito Kid released his notice, and for once you weren't being pulled into his scheme. Conan had discovered the theft was taking place on Monday, out at a party at the base of Hossawa Falls. The gem in question was called the Green Gilded Isle; an emerald which had veins of gold threaded through the gem.
I am absolutely happy I'm not being pulled into this mess, you thought. I'll have the whole evening to myself, and I haven't been asked or pulled along by Sonoko. She already got an invitation to the party, and Ran will be there with Conan and her dad. "I'm glad I wasn't personally asked by that thief to help him steal his next target," you said aloud. Aw, who am I
